Miriam García, guest speaker at the  Touriscape Conference on Transversal Tourism and Landscape

On 4 October, the Touriscape Conference "Tourism and coastal planning: presentation and assessment of three cases", organised by the Ciutat de Cullera Chair, under the auspices of the Cullera Town Council and the University of Valencia, and the Tourism and Territory Institute of the UPC Barcelona and the University of Malaga, will take place in the Cullera Municipal Auditorium.

The event is part of the II International Congress of Transversal Tourism and Landscape 2020, to be held in Barcelona in June of that year. This first day will focus on the analysis and comparison of three Spanish case studies in coastal planning and management and tourism: Comunitat Valenciana, Galicia and Catalunya. To this end, the drafters of these plans and researchers who have studied the evolution of tourism on the coast have been invited, with the aim of assessing the effects of coastal planning on the rehabilitation and renewal of coastal tourism.
