The proposal for the access building and shop of the Pontifical University of Comillas is understood as an extension of the existing stone enclosure of the precinct marking, as a breach in this great wall, the entrance to the campus. The building is buried in the existing relief in a way that makes it only visible from the northern side. Its superior level is only seen through the skylights providing light to the interior of the pavilion. From this point, an ascending path towards the institutional platform leads to the Great Seminary. This walk is conceived in as an initiating trip, preparing for the apprenticeship, similar to the existing institutional access in the southern part of the complex.
