Video cycle: Ideas of City in El País

Ideas de ciudad is conceived by the architect and curator Ariadna Cantis, who already in 2008 was, together with the architect and university professor Andrés Jaque, behind Piensa Madrid, a cycle of debates for La Casa Encendida of the Montemadrid Foundation that presented similar objectives. It also arrived in a context full of parallels with the current moment. "We started that project in the middle of the economic crisis, and we continue until 2013," recalls Cantis for ICON DESIGN. "So we have in common a context of crisis, and also the need to listen to voices that help us understand what is happening, and from there contribute to a better city."
